Japan’s PM Shinzo Abe will be the chief guest of 65th Republic Day 2014 parade celebrations on January 26th 2014 in Delhi, India.
“The Prime Minister of Japan will be the chief guest. The invite was sent some time back,” an informed source told IANS.
“Yes, the Japan’s PM is coming to New Delhi to attend the parade,” sources told IANS.
Shinzo Abe (Abe Shinzo), September 21, 1954 (age 59), is the current Prime Minister of Japan and in office since December 2012. He previously served as Prime Minister from 2006 to 2007. Abe is the President of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and chairman of the Oyagaku propulsion parliamentary group. (wiki)
He is an political science graduate from Seikei University. His grandfather, Kan Abe, and father, Shintaro Abe, were both politicians. Abe’s mother, Yoko Kishi, is the daughter of Nobusuke Kishi, prime minister of Japan from 1957 to 1960. Kishi had been a member of the Tojo Cabinet during the Second World War.
